Does the online timer keep running if I switch tabs?
Yes. The timer calculates time against a fixed end point, so it stays accurate while the tab is in the background. Keep the tab open if you want to hear the alert.
Will the timer work if my screen goes to sleep?
The countdown still uses the correct end time, but browsers may delay sounds and notifications while a device is asleep. The display catches up when the device wakes.
Can I pause and resume the countdown?
Yes. Pause preserves the remaining duration. Resume starts counting from that point, and Reset restores the duration you entered.
